Another excellent installment in the Grijpster and de Gier Amsterdam series. This book is a bit more surreal than some of the others and on the "comic" side, as are most of the books I've read so far. De Gier falls in love. He doesn't want to be in love. We'll see how long that lasts! Great books overall. They have a Simenon-like flavor, in my opinion. Yes, they are about the 70's and 80's so be prepared if you never lived through that period--or if you did. Wonderful!
