Interesting structure where the story jumps back and forth each chapter between the present and a year before when some mysterious deaths and disappearances occur. I thought it was all a little too long, with some things repeated too often. The solution is suitably convoluted as is required in these types of mysteries and it saves the whole book from being a misfire.
