I was walking throught the Christian bookstore on a search for a good read and I stumbled upon Martha Finley. I was intimidated by twenty-eight Elsie books but the eight Mildred books were cute, seemed to possess good plots, and were just the right size. Little did I know then that since reading and rereading them, I would fall in love almost right away. With numerous quotes from Scripture, an exciting adventure, and a warm and loving family life to travel it with her, Mildred Keith has become a friend for life.
