I loved the main characters. Te heroine is a dhampir related to Dracula. Lots of action, and I am looking forward to a sequel. It is helpful to read Karen Chance's other books first at they set the rules for her magical and vampire world and some of the characters wer in her other books.

I loved this book! I think it wise to read the Cassandra Palmer series by this author before hand, if you want to understand the back story. I very much enjoy this author.
