Lauren Winthrop agrees to a deal with Carlos Barzan, a man who is surrounded by suspicion. She is to help The Ravissant Gallery in London to become a success in the art world. Along the way, she meets Ryan Westcott, whose one goal is to catch Barzan who is trying to kill Ryan's mentor T.J. Griffith. Both Ryan and Lauren have ties to Marrakesh, the art world and have secrets in their past. This book was okay, but you can definitely tell it is one of Sawyer's first novels. Read it if you are a fan.
