Synopsis
Dear Reader, Meet Charity Standing. Blonde . . . beautiful . . . and the most desirable young woman in Devonshire. The only problem is, she's jinxed. Not just run-of-the-mill jinxed, but moon-crossed, stars-colliding, world-jarring jinxed. Like a black cat, trouble follows her wherever she goes . . . Then there's Rane Austin. A man of impeccable taste, but less than satisfactory upbringing on the island of Barbados, Rane can't buy himself a wife from London's high and mighty ton. Too rough, too roguish, and far too scandalous, he has lost three women to more respectable men. But his fate is about to change. In the blink of an eye, Charity crosses his path, and his carriage -- and life -- are overturned. The thing is: a bit of danger has never been a deterrent to a man like Rane . . . The road to love has never been so bumpy, but for Charity and Rane, destiny and desire will soften their fall . . . (From SLAKE)

This book was very amusing to me. Its a good book but its definitely not one i would read over and over again. The hero in this book is not the classic hero you find in other romance books. It took me awhile to finish this book because i almost couldn't bring myself to complete it.
