Interesting book with lots of information, but IMHO the word "Unauthorized" should be inserted before Biography. The author had one interview with Michelle in the summer of 2007. Later when she asked the campaign about writing a book on Michelle, they declined to provide access to her and discouraged those who knew the Obamas from talking. The book was prepared from interviews with others in her life, newspaper, magazine and TV articles.
The book gives one the knowledge of who Michelle is and where she came from. She really goes into her family roots and what she believes in. One can see how she could help the president.She continued to watch over her family as a first priority no matter what Barack wanted to do with his life.
An enjoyable read for those who, like me, like to hear about the early lives of famous people.
