Here's my review of The Merry Matchmaker by Sheila Roberts.

If you're looking for a synopsis of this book, you'll have to look elsewhere. Let me start by saying that I have probably read every word published by Sheila Roberts. I'd say written, but hey, even though I picked up the first book I read by her sometime around 2010, sadly I'm not an early reader.

I adored all the characters in this book, perhaps mostly Frankieâthe main character's motherâAdele. She can see that Frankie the self-declared helper is really a meddler. Adele has the most fantastical dreams and asks others what they think they mean. I adore the character's dreams in Ms. Roberts' books perhaps because I too often have weird dreams, however, I often don't remember them when I wake up. But the occasional one I do remember can only be classed as very strange. Lately, I've dreamed several times about my grandfather, mother and two of my sisters who are all passed away. Three of those have passed away in the last five years. I'm still not sure what they are trying to tell me!

I will say that in the interest of full disclosure, I am a member of Sheila Roberts' street team. Well, long story short, I have asked her to stop sending me free books as although I love the feel and smell of books in my hand, I have found it's much more convenient to read e- or audio books, that I get from my local libraries. This particular book, did not come available fast enough, so, I bought myself at my local B&N. As always, she only asks that we honestly review. And if Sheila is reading this, I'm thankful for the acknowledgement!
