Another book with Amish characters from Ms Brunstetter. At first I had a hard time liking Miriam- she seemed very cold and bitter- but I changed my mind as the story advanced. I did enjoy the book and plan to read the rest of the series.

As usual for me, I enjoy reading "Plain People" books. The story line is good, loved the ending. A nice relaxed reading.

The first book in the series Brides of Lancaster County. Wanda E. Brunstetter is a wonderful author and once again she has proved it in this wonderful read about the Amish Life.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was just my type. This book is a lot different then most books now days, it was a good book but it was also very clean which was something I really liked about it. This book didn't have killing or any other negetive actions or words. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it.

A slow moving text of an Amish woman who struggles with keeping Christ in her heart and keeping cheerful in the midst of circumstances. The book has a good message, but is a slow and lazy read, and does not do much for entertaining the mind. Book also uses a lot of Pennsylvania Dutch Amish which was found to be difficult to understand.

Easy read but good wholesome book. I just started reading books about the Amish and really like them!
