Overall, this was a good, solid holiday anthology. I really enjoyed Rhonda Nelson's story, which was funny, smart and sweet. Vicki Lewis Thompson's story (which was the reason I wanted this book), was also sweet. In both of these stories, which were part of previous series, I liked that the author didn't make the reader feel "lost" if they hadn't read the series. I've read the series that VLT's story is from, but not Nelson's. On the other hand, I did get that lost feeling from LaBrecque's story, and didn't feel a connection to the characters subsequently.
