This book was compiled by two sisters of a 9/11 victim, Lauren catuzzi Grandcolas. Similar to scout books, it breaks down activities into easy-to-follow steps (from learning to dance to dating to organizing your home). Over 60 activities, plus suggestions for how to map out activities that are not listed. Each activity cites other resources (book, web, groups). Good for individual use or, as the authors suggest, to use with a group of women to pursue activities together.

This book is one that I absolutely treasure. Lauren Catuzzi Grandcolas had a dream of wanting to motivate women to do anything we wish to in life, but her own life was cut short on September 11, 2001. Subsequently, Grandcolas' sisters decided to make her idea happen by writing this book.
Arranged like a merit badge handbook, the book has a ton of activities you can do on your own or with your girlfriends. It encourages you to do anything from going back to school, taking control of your nutrition, learning to sew or bead, taking a trip somewhere in the world, volunteering, taking up public speaking, tracing your family tree, and much much more.
I highly recommend this book if you're stuck in a rut in life. Try something new with the help of this book, because you can do it!
