I liked book two even more than book one and requested the next in the series as soon as I finished it. Mercy is so tough in so many ways (military sniper, childless, hard drinking) but the secondary characters help us to see the softer parts she is hiding. I very much enjoy spending time with her on her adventures and at her ranch.
