The Atlee Pine series has been devoted to one major plot thread: the search for Atlee's sister Mercy. This story is, in a se se, the conclusion of the story. We already k ow Atlee's story and life, and now we have a chance to learn the other side of the story. Baldacci is a master of crafting puzzle pieces and then putting them together into an engrossing story. A very satisfying read!
