Here we have a Christmas murder with Jane & Shelley right in the middle of things. As if a dead Santa turning up next door to Jane isn't enough stress, she's also meeting Mel's mother for the first time. I enjoy this series a lot and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

It's beginning to look a lot like murder.... It's a Jane Jeffry mystery set in the Christmas season, and Jane must host a dinner party that includes two mothers: her late husband's mother and Mel Van Dyne's mother. The usual things are going wrong, and it's going to get worse.

The Merchant of Menace was a really good book with a lot of holiday fun and murder. It is the 10th in the series. I have read all 10 books in order so far. I finally figured one out before Jane did.

Christmas mysteries are my absolute favorites. Poor Jane Jeffrys is overwhelmed with holiday preparations AND the impending arrival of BOTH her boyfriend's & her late husband's moms. Then of course there's the dead Santa Claus ... Merry Christmas, Jane.
