I couldn't put this book down...so much suspense added with romance...love this series

The plot was ok; no character development or motivation. This story has been done before many times, and much better, a la Suzanne Brockmann, Cindy Gerard, etc.

I thought this was a great action-packed read with believable tension between the characters, an exciting adventure in the jungle and an ongoing plot that makes me want to look for the rest of the series. This book had one scene in the fancy country-club described in the blurb so don't let that put you off. If you're looking for a high society read, this is not that book. I much prefer the thrilling rescue!
