Higgins is one of my favorite contemporary authors and this book both brought tears to my eyes and made me laugh out loud. It's less of a romance than her previous books with more about family dynamics and female friendship, although there is still a romance part of the plot.

I enjoyed this book a lot. The protagonist, Nora, is immensely likable. The story reminds us that even though terrible things happen randomly, we can come back from them, and we can find our own "do over" opportunities and ways to deal with the messier parts of our lives. And lives really ARE messy.

It took me some time to get into it. It really drags at the beginning. Give it at least a 100 pages, it gets better.

I loved this story! As a child of a parent with a the same disorder mentioned in this book (trying not to spoil the story) I could so completely relate. I laughed out loud and I had tears streaming done my checks. Well done!
