Book is rather boring...not nearly as good as Girls in Trucks.
I expected so much more from this book and didn't get it. And it is not your typical chic-lit. But maybe that's why it is at least entertaining, if not good. I can deal with non-convention, but then I really need to know what is the point for having read this book; I'm not sure there was a point.
Surprisingly good book, about a woman trying to find her father, but on the way finds herself. Recommend for quick easy read.
This is an entertaining book with flawed but endearing characters. I liked the narration. It really drew me in and I couldn't put this book down.
I did not get into this book very much. I didn't really like the main character. This is about a disfunctional woman trying to come to terms with her fathers apparent drowning when she was a child. It just did not meet my expectations.
Starts out as a mystery; ends with a duh revelation.
I liked this book. I only felt like the ending was a little rushed. I did not quite understand how a little trip in the boat helped her at all....
I did not want this book to end where it did, and some things I wish didn't happen that did. Or I wished other things WOULD have happened. This is not your typical novel & that is why I love it oh so very much.
Hannah, the main character, has some issues... to say the least. She's different, that's obvious. Her mom re-married quickly after her father's "disappearance", her brother is gay, & she owns a business with her husband Jon selling "luxury" sex toys. This already made the book off to a great start and why would it not? She's having trouble not cheating on every man that she's with though, and this is what brings her husband to want to leave her. But, she does something stupid trying to check up on him and ends up hurting herself. This "incident" makes her mother want her to come back home for awhile to "freshen up" and "sober up" basically.
There's no way you can't like this book. It's brilliantly written, hilarious, romantic, everything! Great read, love this author!

Very good book. Nothing what I expected to be like. Unexpected ending.
