Linda Olson writes of love and pain and hope. Her descriptive prose has you feeling the salt spray on your face and the sand beneath your feet. After reading Astrid & Veronika, I knew I had to find another of her novels. This one was equally enjoyable.
Olsson's writing is so sparse, but yet so complete. All of the characters were well fleshed and the story is memorable.
