This is a great book. It gives you a different view of Helen of Troy, one of a strong woman that was able to overcome terrible events in her life. Very interesting to compare the story in this book to what we all learn during our college years regarding the battle of Troy.

I really enjoyed this take on Helen. As the author states she sometimes uses some lesser known legends in the book than the widely accepted versions and for me this made it even more exciting. This is one of my very favorite stories of history and I would recommend it to everyone.

Very interesting take on Helen of Troy's life from birth to old age. If you enjoy the Iliad and other stories about the Trojan War, this book tells the story from Helen's perspective.
