This book has good information for the beginner. But without the CD to go along with it, it falls rather flat (pardon the pun)...good for those who already have a firm handle on the basics, perhaps, but without a CD to ensure you're doing the right thing, it's difficult to follow.
I ordered this book for my grandson who is just beginning to learn guitar, therefore I am unable to review it at this time. Let's see if he learns anything. I know he was quite confused to begin with, but I think that's because he's not all that familiar with the guitar.
