The second in a trilogy, this book continues the story of people caught up in the aftermath of WWII. It is well written, engaging, and most enjoyable. Although the first book, Home Fires Burning, lays the foundation for the characters, this book can also stand alone and be enjoyed. An intriguing glimpse into the way things "might have been".
