My Dad was a Master Carpenter. I grew up sweeping jobsites, shagging tools, mixing 'mud' for small jobs. Dad passed away in 1982, by 1989 I had come to miss the Old Man very much having rebuilt his workshop and inherited his tools. Norm came along with his show and in the early days it was almost like having family 'in the business'.
This book is different than the show. This book details the evolution of a working carpenter, his tools, how he acquired his skills, what it is like working for family.
It is a short little book but one I will keep and cherish.
