This book is one of the very best books on how to live with pain, and I do mean Chronic Pain and all that goes with it. I have attended a few Pain Management classes on this very topic and my personal doctor highly recommended this book along with the classes. This book gives you good examples of how to endure, how to live better even with pain. It is difficult enough to get from day to day and it helps to have a plan and guidelines to live by. Structure your day, get out a calendar or journal your events and level of pain and by keeping tabs on what triggers your pain, this journal of yours will be very valuable in determining what went wrong and where. This book also shows and tells you how to meditate/focus and breathe. Sounds funny til you have tried it. Learning how to breathe in slower focused breaths will be helpful for you.
