I appreciated this as a critique of the societal structures (no universal maternity leave or health care, little support for part-time work) in the US and would not classify it as a self-help book. Although she does share her personal story which includes meditation and medication it is much more about the stresses faced by working families today. There are specific doable recommendations at the end about how you can make a difference.
