I enjoyed "Innumeracy" so I acquired this book and others by the same author. It is a good book in that it meets its stated objective. It provides a mathematical slant on articles in the daily newspaper. It, like a newspaper can be scanned for interesting topics rather than read from beginning to end. I still have about a third of the topics to read. Because it was published in 1995 the topics are getting some dust on them.
