This book is filled with great "kid" pictures and large font. There are also plenty of laughs. I think people who need more math practice will really enjoy the "challenge" the boy faces in the book and even gives a laugh on the last page. I think it's great!

We decided to order this book from Paperbackswap.com after we took it out of both the public and the school libraries. My son, who is in first grade, likes this book because it has math problems in it. He thought it was funny and "crazy" when we read it for the first time. We would both recommend the book, either for older children who are not that into math and want an easy way to start liking it more, or for kids my son's age who are very interested in math who want a fun picture book. The drawings were really good and imaginative.

A funny and cute book!
Be aware that the answers to all the questions posed by the character in the book are listed on the back of the book!

This book is a GREAT book for students who struggle with Math, and EVERYONE struggles with a problem now and then. It brings out the understanding that it can be confusing and it's just okay. It does it in a way that is fun and literate, as kids DO think Math is sometimes a Curse! I teach Middle School Special Education Math and of course this book is a RIGHT ON book for these students with Learning Disabilities in Math. When they hear this book they feel like someone understands them and it was written about them personally. It's a MUST have for my school library!
