This book has two very good novels in it. But don't make the mistake I did. The two novels are also separate books listed under the name of E.V. Cunningham, a pseudonym Howard Fast used to publish his work after he was "branded" a communist during the "Red Scare" of the 1950s, and publishers were afraid to work with him under his real name.

I already knew that, but didn't check to see that the two novels in this book were books I had already read.

It can be hard to find these novels, and I ended up buying them on Better World Books. So this book is a good deal.
