This is not the first book I read by Angela Knight. I was introduced to her Mageverse series in her novella that appeared in "Bite." As I did not understand this is the second book in the series (if you look at her books in chronological order and also visit her website, it is hard to determine where they all fall.)
I highly enjoyed this book. I found that both of the characters were really relatable and Knight drew you in with her descriptions. Many have commented that her wording when in the romance scenes have gone a little raunchy, I found it not true. What I expect from Angela Knight is not paranormal romance, but paranormal erotica. Her Mageverse characters, have an animalistic craving for each other and in sense the sex is very wild and passionate. With the way she writes the scenes, you can see that Reece has a beastly need to be with Erin. Her characters crave each other and keeping in mind that the Magi needs to feed when having sex. The act of feeding on the Latent/Maja is so carnal that imagining a passionate but slow lovemaking is hard.
I very much enjoyed this book and highly recommend anyone that is interested in reading Angela Knight's books, especially regarding the Mageverse. You will be drawn in.

Angela Knight has created an interesting "magical" take on vampires in her Mageverse series. This book does a good job of setting up the series and even though it is listed as Book #2 I did not suffer from starting the series here, and I REALLY am one of those who needs to start from the beginning.
While the premise and the outside characters in this book were interesting, and I did care about our main characters, I was so turned off by the crass verbiage especially used in the sex scenes that I found this book very difficult to get through. I have read many other authors, and am not turned off by explicit descriptions, it was the words used that were such a turn off. And this story seemed to be one long sex scene.
I have given the author some slack and read Master of the Moon Bk #3 and there was much improvement in that book, so if you are interested in the series, moving forward things do get better.

very good book. This is another installation in the Camelot Vampire series and a good one. so good in fact that I orderd it again and did not realize I had read it already -- then since I had it I figured why not and read it again.. so it is good enough for 2 reads!

Master of the Night is a really sexy story that I thoroughly enjoyed. Knight has created a whole new world full of vampires, witches, demons and even faries. This is the first I've read in the series and I can't wait to read the next one. Highly recommended.

Book 1 of the Mageverse series about Reece and Erin. I loved the sexy characters based on Merlin, Arthur and The Knights of the Round Table. I can't wait to read the other books.

This is a good book with a fast paced storyline.My only objection was there were too many long, drawn out, sex scenes At the beginning of the book you were thinkling "wow these are some pretty explicit sex scenes" but there were so many of them you get de-sensitized and by the end of the book your going "not another sex scene " and struggle to get through it. I will read the next in the series however.

I just love the unique premise behind this series of books. A different way of looking at Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, Witches and Vampires. Who would have thought of working them all together into one "Mageverse" as world where the men are "Vampires" and the women are "Witches" who work together to prevent humans on Earth from self destructing.
This forms the background for some really great romances with lots of action/suspense thrown in for good measure.

Another good Angela Knight vampire novel.
Great vampire book.
This was an amazing book. It is part of a series but each book can stand alone also. It is a bit graphic so I recommend it for mature readers only. If you like some fantasy fiction with your romance, this book is sure to please.

Didn't love the flow of the story. Had trouble liking or wanting to cheer for the characters.
Angela Knight tells all in her sexually charged vampire stories. This one is about a fairy prince, a were-worf and dragons.I collect them all, and fold the corners to re-read the steamy pages!

Wonderful start of a new series. I couldn't put it down with all its romance, mystery and erotica.

I love vampire books, and the Arthurian twists in this book really made for something completely different. Great book. Two of the side characters in this book, Grace and Lance, had their story told in the anthology Hot Blooded (2004).
I loved this book! Its highly erotic and sensual! No slow points in the book at all....If you dont mind coarse language and hot sex scenes this book is a must read!

I enjoyed this book but felt like I missed a story (Grace and Lance) somewhere before this book. Hot and Steamy, turn off the phone and send the kids away, Erin and Reece's story is a page turner.
Very enjoyable! Has little bit of everything, King Arthur, vampires, magic, fairies, you name it! Plus a very nice romantic story with very HOT love scenes.

Angela Knight scores big again with a series that is just too delicious not to pass up. This is a definite page turner that will have you hot and bothered, pulse racing, in no time!
I love this series, and I think this is the best I have read so far, but am waiting to read Kel's before making a final decision.
