This book makes your mind forget about your current location in time and you fall deep into the books plot! I even found my heart pumping at the end of chapter three as if it were really happening around me.

This was a really great book, a really intriguing yarn starting with a man building his family's fortune and his daughter's quest to keep it in the family and how she tries to manipulate people to do what she thinks they should do.
