Brian Jacques is not just for kids! I've enjoyed every one of his books I've read. The Redwall series is well worth the time!

This is a particularly good book in the Redwall series. It's a little different than the others in that Redwall does not yet exist, and I think that makes it stand out a bit more. It is forced to be a different story, and, unlike the others, is not an entirely happy ending. But, it's quite good, so if you're familiar with the Redwall stories and are looking for another book in the series, this one is a good one to read.

Another top rated Redwall Tale. Martin the Warrior is the mouse that all the children of Redwall admire as a folk hero, here is his adventure story.

Amazon.com
Bedrang the Stoat has his evil eyes set on ruling over his own empire, and will do anything to make sure that his ultimate fantasy is fulfilled. But little does he realize that the quiet, nameless mouse he is holding captive will one day turn out to be the heroic and fearless Martin the Warrior.

Brian Jacques uses the full force of his stunning storytelling talent to unravel the mystery and adventure that unfolds in this tale of Redwall as a quiet little mouse refuses to bow down to a tyrant and bids to fight for freedom at any cost. Brimming with cutthroat skullduggery and intellectual intrigue, Martin the Warrior is a mountainous tale that introduces the ethos and passions of Redwall with a host of well-drawn characters, each with their own Achilles' heel, making them feel as real as they are magical. --Susan Harrison

Martin the Warrior is the sixth book of the classic fantastical world of Redwall. The stories are enjoyed by all; the characters are well-rounded but cuddly (as they are animals), so they appeal to both adults and young children. *This is an autographed copy*.

the tale of Martin, the warrior mouse of redwall. More for redwall fans, A fun read, I do tend to skim over the "songs" and lighter interchanges between beasts.

Absolutely one of the best book series I have ever found! My children and I are enjoying them all over again together. If you want an adventure from a little mouse and many other animals this is for you. I would recommend this series to all ages.
