Many parts of this text are far from impartial, it is not written from an objective viewpoint. Despite it's partiality, the book still has value. It is a short read and is informative enough to introduce someone to the events in Martin Luther's life. There is little coverage of the development of Lutheran Doctrine in this book. Some of the letters that Martin Luther wrote and his speech that finalized his break with the Roman Catholic Church are included. If, like myself, you have no knowledge on the subject, this book is a good start. If you are looking for in-depth information on the Lutheran version of Protestantism you must look elsewhere.
