Definitely hard science fiction. I thought it was written well, and very believably. I would definitely rec. this book to Mars fans or hard Sci Fi fans - and anyone interested in both ought to definitely read it. Definitely worth the time.

Edge of your seat thriller. Lots of twists and turns and a damn good read. I highly recommend it.
