My mother & I both really enjoyed this book! You get a flavor of life in Mozart's time without being weighed down with a lot of detail. The story progresses throughout and is *wonderful*! Even if you never thought you were a fan of Mozart's, this is a great book just for the storytellng aspect. The fact that you get a glimpse of the genius of one of our best-loved composers of all time is a bonus!

Enjoyable, quick read based on historical facts on Mozart's relationships and eventual marriage of one of the four Weber sisters. I thought some of the sisters converstations in the first 4th of the book was somewhat stilted; I could see this was done as to give the reader some background information on the parent's early life. Other than that, I enjoyed this and had a hard time putting it down.

A quick read. Not among the best books I've read because the plot seemed rather flat and contrived. Nonetheless it was an interesting glimpse into Mozart's domestic life. I hadn't realized that his wife Constanze came from such a musical family and that Mozart was close to all three of her other sisters.
