Ugh!
I really could not find much to like about this book - I perservered to the end HOPING it would get better, the entire premise put me off and JUST when I thought the H/h might work things through he leaves - for no good reason! I will say that the writing itself is smooth and the story moves well, I particularly liked the secondary characters Maggie Pierce and Lord Hollings - perhaps the author won't be so heavy handed with their story... one can only hope.
