One of my all-time favorite books. It is absolutely hilarious most of the time. Lots of twists and turns in the plot too :)

Wow, I was shocked that my experience with this book was so different than other reviewers. I didn't think it was EVER funny! Seriously, the main character was so unbelievably irresponsible and just a total fool. I honestly don't get the humor part at all, I love funny books with quirky characters but this was not funny to me. It was well-written, but I had such a negative view of the main character that I couldn't get beyond that. I was glad when it was over.

Fun and a good page turner - I don't usually like "contempory" novels but this was great!

I was looking for something lite and funny, and this was just the book. Not shrieks of laughter, but good laughs along the read. Standard story, spouse dies, looking for love, all the pratfalls and finally "the right one". Nice change from my usual mystery thrillers. Marion
