Though this is not something I would normally read, I did enjoy it, right to the very last twist--which I kind of expected, but was surprised by it anyway.
The first challenge is getting through the "Hallmark Movie" opening. After that--about 30 pages--things start to get interesting. There are a lot of presumptions that you will experience up front, but those will get thrown out the window as you crest the first hill, and plunge headlong on this thrilling roller-coaster ride.
I was asked to read this for my book club. I started full of skepticism, but now I'm glad I read it. :o)

A good thriller, very suspenseful, full of twists and a very fast read. I enjoyed the ride but the ending was a bit much. I can't say more without giving too much away. In any case, it was deserved!
Book Description:
Iris and Will have been married for seven years, and life is as close to perfect as it can be. But on the morning Will flies out for a business trip to Florida, Iris's happy world comes to an abrupt halt: another plane headed for Seattle has crashed into a field, killing everyone on board and, according to the airline, Will was one of the passengers.
Grief stricken and confused, Iris is convinced it all must be a huge misunderstanding. Why did Will lie about where he was going? And what else has he lied about? As Iris sets off on a desperate quest to uncover what her husband was keeping from her, the answers she finds shock her to her very core.
My Review:
This is a fast-paced quick read that will keep you guessing if Iris' husband, Will, is dead or alive. It's a nightmare none of us would like to live and the reader must have sympathy for Iris as her world comes crushing down. It was not too hard to figure out what was happening but the book did have a few surprises that I did not see. I found the plot to be unique and the characters were interesting. I would definitely read another book by Kimberly Belle and would highly recommend this book to those who like stories that are a definite nightmare.

I found this book to be almost two different stories, while both parts are suspenseful and fast paced, it felt like there were two different stories. I found Iris's reaction to everything interesting and thought provoking. Though it leaves the reader with more questions than answers, such as who did you marry? What did they do before they met you? I found the end a little too neatly tied up, yet it does leave you with a WTF moment.
This was a fast paced thriller that led the main character on a wild goose chase emotionally and physically. Unfortunately, as the reader, I pretty much guessed the ending after 50 pages. Not that I didn't enjoy the ride, hence the 4 star review. A great beach read and definitely recommend it to friends who need a quick, enjoyable thriller. Iris thinks she has everything in her loving husband Will, until the day he leaves for a business trip and his plane crashes in a corn field. But wait, he wasn't supposed to be on that plane. Iris's life is completely thrown for a loop as she tries to piece together the information that her dead husband left her and the strange texts that are being sent to her from a mystery person. Can she figure out what is real and who exactly her husband was/is before his secrets claim her too?
this book of Kim's got good reviews and ratings. It was good and kept you guessing - was he dead or alive? did he take the money or not? - but I still think her first book was her best so far. The first book was more suspenseful and had more of a surprise ending.
