Interesting and thought provoking. Quick read.
Intersting read. The first Robin Cook I'd ever read, and it kept my attention. Not my favorite book by any means, but worth reading for entertainment value.

Another Robin Cook medical mystery, this time starring the heroes of his Vector novel, medical examiners Jack Stapleton and Laurie Montgomery. The twist this time, and what makes this one of his best, is the introduction of Jazz, one great villainess. If you like Robin Cook, you'll love this one.

All of Cook's most recent novels show a full shot of him on the back cover, usually in some sort of clinical setting wearing a doctor's white coat and stethoschope. On the back cover of Marker, Cook is dressed casually in a sweater and standing in a richly furnished room that might be his house. The great part is that Cook is standing there, feet shoulder width apart and hands on hips, doing his best George Reeves Superman pose. It's hilarious. You simply must check out this book if for no other reason than to see SuperCook in his natural surroundings.

This book is a series of two Medical Examiner's in New York that alway seem to get into some sort of trouble as they solve the most unique crimes while still finding time to sort through their private lives.....Can't say more about Laurie Montgomery and Jack Stapleton. Several books are currently available in this series: Vector, Marker, Contagion and chromosone 6 ...Crisis is the latest in the series. You will throughly enjoy them....once you start reading you can't put them down plus you learn so much about the medical field and the scary things that truly go on inside their quiet walls where they don't necessarily want the public to know about.

Yeah! Robin Cook at his best with this story. I love how he takes you on a journey of seeing one puzzle piece at a time, so you can be an 'armchair detective' as the story unfolds, only to be thwarted by the great twists that Cook throws at you. Resolved with a satisfying ending, didn't feel like he rushed to finish the story at all.

Sorry moves along really well and the characters are well written. You know "who done it" from the very beginning but you also don't know who hired the killer. The progression to catching the killer is very suspenseful. I enjoyed it.
