Another good installment of the Scotland Yard series,Author Deborah Crombie keeps your interest with police procedural techniques and engaging characters.I'm always rooting for Superintendent, Duncan Kincaid, but this time, his wife, DI Gemma got special attention too. A series of crimes followed the finding of Olympic rower victim, Rebecca Meredith. Crombie spins a tangled complicated tale, that is riveting and suspenseful. I was especially interested in the search and rescue team so deftly characterized to fit into the mystery. It is the third Scotland Yard mystery I've read and will defintely look for another.
A brilliantly conceived and executed, deeply atmospheric mystery, No Mark Upon Her embroils Kincaid and James in the case of the puzzling drowning of a rower, a Met detective, on the Thames. A finely-hued and twisting tale of psychological suspenseâa story rich in deadly secrets, salacious lies, and unexpected betrayals
