I saw the movie Marie Antoinette with Kirsten Dunst and had to find out more about Marie Antoinette, I wanted to get another biography about her (not the one the movie was based on). This one is a great one that also tells a little bit about what happened to her family after the beheadings. I'm hoping when I have more time to do some research into what happened to her daughter. If anyone can recommend books on her daughter, PM me and let me know, thanks!!
With so many characters in this book, listening to it was difficult (to keep the people straight in the story). This is one of those biographies that is easier to keep straight by reading the book.
Overall, I felt that the story was fairly dull. I would have liked to have known what happened to more of the characters who were close to Marie Antoinette. 3.5 stars
