The beauty of reading biographies after the person's death is that the reader sees the whole life in one unified whole. I remember Margaret Thatcher during the 1980s and her close friendship with Ronald Reagan. I didn't remember why the Falklands War was waged; this story makes it clear.

I remember she was called the Iron Lady and took it on as a badge of honor. She was and is the only woman to run the British government. I would like to have known what Maggie's relationship was with the Queen. Margaret Thatcher had an eventful life; I had no idea she trained as a chemist. I was impressed that she earned her law degree while having twins.
