Okay completion to the Marcelli family. Expected more for the finish. The Prince was a jerk and for me that was very off-putting. That's why this Mallery book wasn't as great as the others in this series.

I did not like this book much at all. Could barely get thru it. The "hero" spends most of the book lying to Mia...not one of my favorites.

Hopefully you'll enjoy it more!

a little disappointing, especially since I really enjoyed the previous books in the series.

Tha latest in the Marcelli Wine sisters. This is the story of Mia. Not one of the author's best works. Very improbable.

Cute addition to the Marcelli family series. There were some holes in the story making it slightly unbelievable, but I still enjoyed it and the characters. It's a romance novel, it's not meant to be too realistic.

I was pretty disappointed with this book. I've really liked everything I've read by Susan Mallery in the past, and I'd just read The Marcelli Bride (the book that comes before this) and I really liked it. But the guy in the book was a bit of a jerk, and while watching him overcome that was interesting, the whole thing just seemed a little off. It was an okay read, but not nearly as good the others.

Mia's story. A little slow to start, but a good read.

I was disappointed in this book . Rafael is weak and made to appear stupid. Iloved the stories leading up to this book. I was bored with the story and I felt Susan was bored with the character line. I'm glad there are no more siblings

I love Susan Mallery and really liked this series, but this book was very disappointing. I hated Rafael and wasn't too crazy about his son, either. If Rafael had said "I am the crown prince of Calandria" and if Danny had said "I am the heir" one more time, I would have gone postal. I wish I would have counted the times those two statements were made, but I am guessing at least once per page. Crazy excessive!

I am reading my way through all of Susan Mallery's books and I have really enjoyed them all except for this one. I just could not get into it and it was a struggle to actually finish it. I was shocked as the rest of her books captivated me and I didn't want to put them down.

A smart, independent woman with a gorgeous four-year-old son, Mia Marcelli lost her one true love. Four years ago, while working undercover for the CIA, she watched Diego, the father of her unborn child, perish before her very eyes-crumbling the world around her. But one morning she awakens to find Diego lying next to her, alive and well with an unbelievable confession: he is really Rafael, Prince of Calandria, and he had been working covertly on the same mission when they met-his death had been staged. Utterly stunned, Mia is wary and delighted-she may have suffered a broken heart, but her breathtakingly handsome lover is back to reignite the passion that existed between them. Little does she know that Rafael has returned to give his newfound son a proper upbringing in Calandria-even if it means seducing Mia into marriage. But when Rafael finds himself truly falling for this luscious beauty, he must decide between his royal duties and the woman who has claimed his heart.
