My book group read this for one of our monthly discussions. While no one said I loved the book, it is well written and perfect for a book discussion. The portrayal of BOston in 1974 is spot on and the characters well developed. If you choose this for a group discussion you will not be sorry. Also, could be recommended for a mature teen exploring coming-of-age stories.
