Very interesting and apparently well researched book. Unfortunately less than half the book was actually about Scovell. Too many pages were spent detailing the startegies of the battles Scovell was in, and told stories of the generals and others but not the man whom the book is supposedly about. These pages and effort should have been directed at detailing the steps taken to break the various codes as well as more in depth analysis of the man himself.
