For parents and caregivers that believe breastfeeding is not only healthful and natural, but something the is common among both humans and animals will want to share the book "Mama's Milk/Mama me alimenta" by Michael Elsohn Ross and Ashley Wolff with the children in their lives.

Not only a book that will reassure parents and children that breast is best, it can also help older siblings better understand why mommy seems to be spending so much time with the new baby. The text is provided in both English and Spanish and the illustrations are done is gouache, lending a softness to each image. At the conclusion of the book, interesting information about each of the mammals featured in the book is included. How many know that kangaroo milk is pink or that platypus babies are called puggles?

A sweet book about how mama animals of all types feed their babies. A great book for kids who like animals or to introduce your child to the normal-ness of nursing. I got this when I was preparing my boys for the birth of their brother and they enjoy it.
