Written by my fav author, Ruby Jean Jensen and I consider this book one of her best. This is a story about a family who have just lost the head of the household, father and husband. The youngest is a girl of 5 years. She is sooo distraught at the loss of her daddy that when they move into a new house, she happens upon a secret world in the attic full of old, dusty and torn up toys. She treasures them and wants to bring them to life. Friends who will stay with her forever, she gets her wish, by breathing life into their tiny mouths. Good idea for her, Bad idea for them all. Her new, real friends become evil and the story goes from there. Who would believe that toys have come to life in the attic? Who will believe a 5 year old who just lost her daddy? No one but one. This book rocked. It is a five star all the way. I got an autographed copy of this on Amazon, but the author is no longer alive to give us these creepy and awesome stories anymore. She was the mistress of horror book writing in my mind.
