This is a really great book. Using an Innuit (Eskimo) setting it addresses one of the greatest fears of very young children, "If I do something wrong will my Mama stop loving me"? The illustrations are also outstanding.

Several pages talk about the animals in the Eskimo environment at the end. The Illustrations are fabulous. I read this book all the time to my kids when they were little and they loved this book so much both of them kept their books and they are teens. Great book. I was in Alaska and I saw a lot of copies of this book there.
