Interesting.. I think this is either the second or third of this series.. American woman of a certain age remarries in a small English town. Shows the difference in small town living and the adjustments as well as a nicely done mystery

A likeable American heroine living in a small village in the English countryside where murder and mayhem rule. Dorothy Martin has been called the modern day Miss Marple. When the housekeeper at Brockly Hall, home of the doll house museum is murdered Dorothy's husband, Chief Constable Nesbitt, fears she is getting too involved.
