The Kathy and Brock series of mysteries is excellent - the characters are well-drawn and believable. This was especially enjoyable because it was a different locale, and Brock goes undercover.

Good character development & intricate story line. Takes place on a health farm kind of place - a naturopathic spa. Lots of misleading clues to whodunnit. Good read.

A suicide at a health spa starts an investigation. Was it a suicide or murder? Interesting book. Holds your interest.

According to GoodReads, this is the second of the Brock and Kolla mysteries, immediately following The Marx Sisters. I really enjoy this series for the well-drawn characters, the interesting settings, and the imaginative plot twists. Maitland is an architect and his knowledge of architectural history fits into this story (as it also has in other installments I've read). The death being investigated here requires some serious sleuthing and the plot is thick with suspects.
