You know, this was much better than I imagined. It summarizes common sense about healthy living into simple and inspiring nuggets. AND I learned some new things about why you should exercise in the morning, why you should eat breakfast, and frankly, I am now convinced enough to want to do it! Plus, it's written to be an easy and fun read, with stories about how hard it was for Oprah, as well as other of Greene's clients. Worth a read!

Sometimes "diet" books are all about making really drastic changes to your lifestyle which ultimately are impossible to sustain, which is why I really like this book. He talks about making changes in 10 steps. There is a lot of opportunity to understand the information and to incorporate it into your own life. I also liked reading about Oprah's struggles and ultimate success.

A very inspirational book with "doable" advice. The steps in this book are very realistic and possible to implement in your busy everyday life. I especially liked the fact that this was co-authored by someone whom we've seen her struggles - and eventual triumph - with achieving a healthy lifestyle.

A great book and a program that helped Oprah lose weight in the 90's. Bob Greene is seen on Oprah even today. He's a great guy and you can learn so much from him. You'll definitely want to pick up this book.

After trying every diet program imaginable--from Atkins to Optifast--media giant and self-confessed junk-food junkie Oprah Winfrey met personal trainer and exercise physiologist Bob Greene. The rest is talk-show history. (Who can forget seeing Oprah wheeling that wagon of fat onstage?) Instead of fad diets, fasts, and quick fixes, Greene taught Oprah how to eat right and exercise regularly. He helped her lose more than 70 pounds and changed her life forever.

Great book for helping those start a diet and exercise program. Provides nutrition information, personal diaries from Oprah and lots of info on how to get into shape.
