I enjoyed this book. It is admittedly light reading for an adult (I'm 62). But it kept my attention for the short amount of time it took to read it. It was fun. However the second book The Curse of Arkady... is only a scaled down version for even younger readers and doesn't have new information. Book #2 is maybe a refresher for the kids who read #1. I don't know. I just know that after reading Book #1 I should have skipped directly to Book #3.
